Malaysia's Number One Card Game
Baccarat is a firm favourite among Malaysian players, and GT99 offers the most complete selection of live baccarat tables — from beginner-friendly tables all the way to exclusive VIP tables with high betting limits.
Choose a table that suits your style and budget
The most popular classic variant — standard rules, a relaxed atmosphere, and suitable for both beginners and seasoned players.
Built for players who love non-stop action. Every round wraps up in under 30 seconds.
An exclusive table with higher betting limits, a more intimate setting and a dedicated dealer for GT99 VIP members.
A popular Asian variant featuring the "Super Six" side bet — win big if the Banker wins with a total of 6.
No 5% commission on Banker wins — a simpler, more player-friendly payout structure.
The "Dragon Bonus" side bet lets you win up to 30x when your hand wins by a large margin.
Baccarat is often seen as complicated by those who have never tried it, but it is actually one of the easiest casino games to learn. At GT99, we provide a step-by-step guide so that even new players can get started with confidence.
The basics of baccarat are straightforward: you choose to bet on either the Banker's hand, the Player's hand, or a Tie. Two hands are dealt — each receiving two cards initially, with a third card possibly dealt according to set rules. The hand whose total is closest to 9 wins the round.
Card values in baccarat work as follows: Aces are worth 1, cards 2 through 9 are worth their face value, and 10s, Jacks, Queens, and Kings are all worth 0. If the total of two cards exceeds 9, only the last digit counts — for example, 7 + 8 = 15, but the baccarat value is 5.
Clear and transparent payout rates for every bet type
| Bet Type | Payment | House Edge |
|---|---|---|
| Banker | 1:1 (–5% commission) | 1.06% |
| Player | 1:1 | 1.24% |
| Tie | 8:1 | 14.36% |
| Banker Pair | 11:1 | 10.36% |
| Player Pair | 11:1 | 10.36% |
| Super Six (B wins with 6) | 12:1 | 16.87% |
| Dragon Bonus (max) | 30:1 | 2.65% |
* House edge calculated based on standard 8-deck shoe. Actual RTP may vary slightly depending on table variant.
Track the trend of recent round results at the table
The road helps players spot patterns in past results, but each round is independent and previous outcomes have no bearing on what comes next.
Ask any seasoned casino player in Malaysia what game they play most, and the answer is almost always baccarat. There's something about this card game that has truly embedded itself in Malaysian gambling culture — perhaps because it's easy to pick up, or perhaps because of the anticipation that builds while waiting for that third card to be dealt. Whatever the reason, GT99 makes sure the baccarat experience on our platform is second to none.
Since GT99 launched its live casino section, baccarat has consistently been the most-played game every day. During peak hours — Friday nights and weekends — it's not uncommon to see over 500 Malaysian players spread across GT99's baccarat tables at the same time. These aren't just numbers; they reflect the trust built over time between GT99 and the local player community.
One of the most common questions new players ask at GT99 is: "Which table should I start with?" Our answer is always the same — begin at a Classic Baccarat table with the minimum bet, get comfortable with the flow of the game, study the road, and don't rush to increase your stakes before you're truly ready. Every seasoned player you see betting with confidence once went through that same beginner phase.
On the technical side, GT99 uses live casino software from world-class providers such as Evolution Gaming and Pragmatic Play Live. This means every table runs on independently certified random number generators (RNG), HD video streaming with low latency, and professional dealers who undergo intensive training before going live at any table. There's no need to worry about manipulation — the systems in use are the same ones powering the largest online casinos in Europe.
For players who prefer using a strategy in baccarat, GT99 provides a full set of score roads — the Big Road, Big Eye Road, Small Road, and Cockroach Road — all displayed within the game interface. While statisticians often point out that every round is independent, many Malaysian players find the road displays helpful for making betting decisions based on current trends. GT99 doesn't discourage this approach — we believe every player has the right to enjoy the game in the way that works best for them.
For payments, GT99 supports all major Malaysian payment methods. You can deposit using Touch 'n Go eWallet, DuitNow, GrabPay, Boost, ShopeePay or FPX online banking via Maybank2u, CIMB Clicks and other local banks. The minimum deposit is just RM30, and funds reach your gaming account in under 2 minutes. For withdrawals, GT99 processes requests within 15 to 30 minutes — significantly faster than most other platforms on the market.
GT99's bonus programme is also designed with baccarat players in mind. Alongside the welcome bonus for new members, there is a dedicated daily rebate for live baccarat players calculated on your total wagering amount — not just whether you win or lose. This means that even after a rough session, you still receive a return in the form of a rebate. For full details on current promotions, visit our Promotions section.
For serious baccarat players looking to take their game to the next level, the GT99 VIP programme offers access to exclusive baccarat tables unavailable to regular members. These VIP tables feature betting limits of up to RM50,000 per hand, a more intimate atmosphere, and a higher level of personalised service from the GT99 team. VIP players are also assigned a dedicated account manager who can be contacted directly for any needs.
Something else we at GT99 take pride in is our commitment to responsible gaming. Playing baccarat — or any other casino game — should always be a form of entertainment, not a way to solve financial problems. We provide self-management tools such as daily deposit limits, weekly loss limits, and a play break option to help keep your gaming experience positive and in control. If you feel that playing is starting to affect your daily life, support resources are available in our Responsible Gaming section.

Practical tips from experienced players — not a guarantee of winnings, but they will help you play smarter
The Banker bet has the lowest house edge at 1.06%. Even with a 5% commission, it remains the statistically smartest choice over the long run.
The Tie bet offers a tempting 8:1 payout, but its 14.36% house edge makes it the least profitable option in the long run.
Set a gaming budget before you start and never exceed it. Daily limits help you stay within a safe zone without having to worry about significant losses.
Use the GT99 road map to track recent result patterns. Many experienced players follow an ongoing Banker or Player streak as it develops.
After a long session, decision-making sharpens up. Take a 15–20 minute break every hour to maintain your focus and keep your emotions in check.
Set a maximum loss limit you're comfortable with for the day. Once that limit is reached, stop playing and come back tomorrow with a fresh mindset.
GT99 offers a demo mode for most baccarat tables. Use it to get comfortable with the interface before playing with real money.
Check the GT99 Promotions section regularly. Baccarat rebates and reload bonuses can add significant value to your sessions when used wisely.
